The Shan ministry lost a dear Shan friend, co-worker and an evangelist this year. His name was Pi Jing. Pi Jing did the 5th of February this year 2007. He became 33 years old and he left behind a wife and two children. The children are three and five years old.  In the middle of March we had a baptism for some new Shan believers. They became Christian last year. The people that were baptized were parents of some of the children at our school, and it was very encouraging that they now wanted to be baptized. It was four people that were baptized, one couple and two women.

 DTS team from Norway
For two months we had a visit from a DTS team from Youth With a Mission Norway. They were a grate blessing for me and the ministry. When I experienced that my good Shan friend Jing died, they become a good support. They were also a grate support for us in prayer and at the school. At the school they were teaching English and had devotion for the children. In the beginning it was bit hard for them, because of the noise and the language barrier, but they all were captivated by our charming Shan children. And it was hard for them, when the time came, when they had to leave. Click on read more and see the video. |
